Actually, I think I did this before and no one wanted any xD But if I did, it was before my journal purge, and I should do it again anyway. Mind you, I'm very slow when it comes to art...
Because shamrock shakes are freaking amazing.
Now, I need to update on a a lot of things that have happened.
First of all, about two weeks ago, on a Tuesday, my Dad woke me up at 3:30 in the morning and told me, "You need to take me to the hospital." I was SCARED AS HELL!
He was having some abdominal pain, he thought it might be appendicitis.
And of course, I took him in. Stayed at the hospital until about 5 a.m. at which point I went home try to salvage my morning and get some sleep. But at 6 o'clock, the hospital calls and tells me he's ready to come home. Turns out he had a kidney stone. So I pick him up and come home. I decided I had to go to school, but I was determined to come home after my first hour class. And I did. Nobody home. I'm like, "WTF? he was here an hour ago!" I tried to call, but no one answered their cell phone. So I went into the basement with a headache and tried to sleep. Then my Dad and brother come home; he had to go back to the hospital! They gave him some morphine and sent him on his way. But ohman it was terrifying. I got sick (major headache and cough) and stayed home from school for the rest of that day and the next.
So that was an adventure. Then there was Friday, the 14th
District Solo and Ensemble. Basically, a music competition.
I was running around almost all night. Our Orchestra did very well, we got a *1 and are heading to State. In addition, I did solo violin, duet violin, and solo piano. I thought my violin solo went really bad. I know my piano solo was. Our violin duet went very well, we got a *1 on that too.
Then I found out my violin score.
Well, first let me explain. I have done class A (difficult enough that if you do well enough, you get sent to state) for violin for three years now. Sophomore year, I got a 2. Last year, I got a 1. I figured it was time, I was due for a *1. But I didn't think I did well, the judge was critiquing me pretty bad.
But...I got a *1 on my violin solo. I was sooooooo psyched! So I'm going to state for 3 things.
And now I have a week off for spring break. Can life get any better?
